Dwolla Offers Payments Via Twitter
Dwolla, a payments innovation company, will now allow its users to link their Dwolla and Twitter accounts, enabling them to send peer-to-peer payments via Twitter, the company announced yesterday on its blog. To send money users simply need to include the recipient's Twitter handle, the dollar amount of the transactions and Dwolla's hashtag in the tweet.

In its blog post the company noted that the feature would allow for easier payments as users wouldn't have to login to their Dwolla mobile app every time they wanted to send payments. The Twitter payments feature has much in common with Chirpify, published reports noted, which allows users to similarly link their Twitter and PayPal accounts.
