UFJ Bank Selects FLEXCUBE
UFJ Bank (Tokyo), has selected Mumbai-based i-flex's flagship product FLEXCUBE to run its global banking operations. FLEXCUBE will be deployed across 25 locations across 16 countries in Asia, Europe and the U.S.
CCB Contracts WITH NCR
Hong Kong-based China Construction Bank (CCB) has signed a new contract with NCR (Dayton, Ohio), worth $17 million, for the supply of ATM hardware and software. Under the new deal, the vendor will deploy NCR's Personas 77, Personas 84 and Personas 86 ATMs across CCB's branches in China by year-end.
Rabobank Installs SunGard
Rabobank (Utrecht, The Netherlands) has installed SunGard Trading and Risk Systems' (Wayne, Pa.) credit risk management software, Credient MC2. Rabobank will use Credient MC2 to measure its global counterparty credit exposures against set limits for real-time decision making and credit risk control.
Postbank Chooses SAP
Frankfurt-based Deutsche Postbank has moved its retail banking processes to the SAP for Banking platform from SAP (Walldorf, Germany). Postbank replaced 14 legacy systems with SAP for Banking and has reduced the number of standard banking processes from more than 120 to 35.
Nordea Picks Todos
Nordea (Stockholm) has chosen Gothenburg, Sweden-based Todos Data System as the sole supplier of PC-based smart card readers. Nordea will offer its customers use of the Todos Argos Mini II smart card reader. The new reader will be used together with a PKI application, e-ID, on the Proton Prisma EMV cards Nordea is issuing.
