Risk Management: The Role of Technology

One financial services discipline that has taken a lot of heat has been risk management. Some experts say the beginnings of the financial crisis were allowed to form because firms didn’t practice risk management correctly. Other say firms ignored risk managers who dared to raise red flags about risky investments. Whatever the case may be, in 2009 all firms have a renewed focus on risk management.
