Mount Laurel, NJ-based Sun National Bank, in partnership with First Data, an electronic commerce and payment processor, expanded their mobile payment solution, Pogo, to small businesses. Pogo gives merchants wireless coverage to accept credit, signature debit or cash payments.
Using the internet, the mobile application and secure mobile card reader, Pogo allows iOS or Android smartphones or tablets to create point-of-sale devices.
“With the ability to access Pogo in our growing suite of small business banking services, our customers can leverage the latest technology to securely process payments, more effectively manage their expenses and improve their bottom line,” said Thomas X. Geisel, president and CEO of Sun National Bank, in a statement.
Integrated with First Data, the solution will also offer encryption when the card is swiped, electronic receipts with email or text options, real-time summary reporting, mobile card reader and 24/7 phone, email, web portal and chat support.
