Square Aims for Late-Summer Launch

Square, the mobile payments startup that enables card payments through mobile devices, could be close to relaunching, according to The Wall Street Journal.The company had a setback in June due to the pending resolution of a credit processing risk issue. Announced in 2009 by Twitter cofounder Jack Dorsey, Square began a data program earlier this year. Square's device, which attaches to devices and mobile phones via headphone jack. The Wall Street Journal says Square is aiming for a late-summer launch.
