Google Could Benefit from Gupta's Resignation
After an 18-month run as Google's head of consumer payments, Vikas Gupta has resigned from the company, according to AllThingsD's Tricia Duryee.
I believe that a major staff change such as this one presents a great opportunity for a company to refresh and progress. And after an anticlimactic September launch and limited adoption of the company's much-hyped Google Wallet, a breath of new life may be exactly what Google's consumer payments division needs.
