ACI Worldwide Introduces Merchant Payments Solution for Mobile Wallets
Payment systems provider ACI Worldwide introduced the newest version of its integrated payments solution, Retail Commerce Server 5.0, that integrates with mobile wallet applications emerging on the market.
The solutions' framework supports mobile wallet transactions through the merchant's current payment infrastructure, cutting the costs typically associated with processing mobile wallet payments. ACI said that merchants will not have to make any significant changes to their operations with the solution.

The solution, which is being targeted to U.S. and Mexican markets, also extends support for credit application, fleet cards, phone card, and Canadian debit transactions.
"The latest version of Retail Commerce Serverempowers retailers to meet the growing demand for mobile wallet services with near seamless integration into their existing systems," Jeffrey Hale, senior vice president of Retail Payments at ACI, said in a statement. "It will result in a stronger relationship with the consumer since they will be able to use the payment means of their choice without having to endure service disruptions."
