Flexible Platform
First Command Bank deploys Fincentric solution.
First Command Bank (Fort Worth, Texas) has gone live with Fincentric's (Vancouver) real-time banking solution. Fincentric's Wealthview Banking System delivers retail and online banking services for the bank's growing international and U.S. client base.
The bank's conversion to Fincentric's technology is the first step in First Command Bank's plan to improve sales and differentiate its services. The financial institution is leveraging the open architecture of the new technology to transition away from legacy systems and consolidate data onto a single, integrated platform.
The bank selected Fincentric's solution in December 2003 and implemented it during the fourth quarter of 2004, according to Sherry Sitton, executive vice president, First Command Bank. The bank chose the solution because of its flexibility, explains Sitton. "We knew that we were going to be able to do some things in the future, and using Fincentric has positioned us to go through with these plans during the next few years," she explains.
The bank will develop a single portal so that its clients can view their investment and banking information in the same place. "Right now, they have to go to two separate places to get that information," relates Sitton. "Fincentric will help in facilitating this consolidation, which will help us to serve our clients better."
