ICBA Debuts YouTube Series
This week, the Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA) formally announced Money 101, a YouTube video series geared towards consumer education.
The three-part video series aims to educate consumers on financial topics such as making an offer on a home, saving money and making full use of the services offered by community banks, according to a press release. Those financial topics, ICBA says, were selected because they are often researched by consumers. Each video is tagged with specific research terms so consumers can find them easily when searching online.
The Money 101 series is the first of several videos ICBA plans to produce and disseminate through YouTube, the organization says. "ICBA looks forward to educating a wider and more diverse audience on the benefits of community banking and these timely consumer financial topics," Chris Lorence, ICBA senior vice president of marketing, said in the press release.
