He was most recently working on the bank's digital banking and payments strategy. Before joining Chase Heller worked for Andersen Consulting, where he specialized in card processing.
In a statement released today announcing the news of Heller's hiring, Huntington emphasized Heller's experience digital banking and payments. The bank (with $56 billion in assets) noted that he had deep experience working in card payments, including management, design, implementation and testing of card processing systems. Brown added that Huntington's CIO Zahid Afzal will report directly to Heller, who will report to Steve Steinour, Huntington's president and CEO.
