BS&T On The Road
There's no better way to gauge what's relevant in banking technology than to listen to the experts, be they bankers, analysts or vendors. And there's likely no better way to do that than to be where they are.
To that end, I'm in Boston today and tomorrow for the TowerGroup/CEB Annual Financial Services Strategy & Technology Conference & Exhibition, and will be traveling to Las Vegas a few days later for Focus 2011, Fiserv's client conference.
My biggest hope over the next several days is to do exactly what I stated above: to gauge what's relevant in banking technology from the experts, be they bankers, analysts or, yes, even vendors. With upcoming topics on BS&T's editorial calendar (PDF) centered on customer experience, mobile security, innovation, payments and e-banking, I'll venture to guess this might be a decent start.
Along the way, I'll be tweeting the experience and doing my best to keep up on email. If you're at either event, feel free to ping me and say hello or send a tip my way.
