Bank Hiring Rising 10% Per Month, Recruitment Firm Says

It's not a myth, banks really are hiring again, according to recruitment consulting firm Huxley Associates. The firm has recorded an average rise of almost 10% per month in the number of placements it has made in the banking sector.

Bank opportunities prompted the company to open its first office in Delhi this week, a venture that will respond to the demand from the banking community for high level banking technology professionals in the region.

This thawing of the international recruitment freeze imposed by the majority of the major financial institutions is a sure sign that the sector is beginning to recover, Huxley says. And the firm's expansion into India will enable it to better serve global financial institutions looking to "multi-shore," executives say.
