EXECUTIVE CHANGES
Jim Pedrick has been appointed senior vice president, Marketing, for the U.S. Retail Financial Services operation of ING Americas, Atlanta, the North and South America division of Amsterdam-based ING Group. He will take a leadership role in the division, which markets ING's life insurance, annuities, mutual funds and other investment products and services to the American marketplace. Pedrick comes to ING Americas from Charles Schwab, where he held a number of executive positions.

Stephen Moon has been named director of Project Management for London-based Cognotec, a supplier of e-commerce solutions to the financial industry. In this role, he will oversee the company's flagship product, AutoDeal LITE, an Internet-based foreign exchange and money market dealing package. Prior to joining Cognotec, Moon helped develop online products at PackagingCell Limited and Edgetek Machine Corporation.

Mitsugu Serizawa has been promoted to manager of the Planning Office for Manufacturers Bank, the Los Angeles-based arm of Japan's Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation. Serizawa has been with Sumitomo for 20 years and held various executive positions, most recently as senior vice president and general manager of the bank's Tokyo office.

Joseph Guagliardo has been named managing director, Global Systems Integration, for Philadelphia-based FNX Limited, a producer of financial technology solutions for global capital markets. Guagliardo, who has been with the company six years, will be responsible for the management of all FNX's global systems integration projects. FNX also announced that Patrick J. Cannon would become managing director of Global Client Relations. Cannon has been with the company seven years, and will focus on ensuring system support and user satisfaction for FNX's global clients.

Roy Couchman will take over as general manager of the Ascent Software Business Unit at Kofax Image Products, an Irvine, Calif.-based supplier of both application software and image processing products. Couchman replaces Kevin Drum, who left to take a newly created position with Dicom New Ventures, the business development arm of the Dicom Group, Kofax's parent company.
