EXECUTIVE CHANGES
David G. Golden and Julie Richardson have been appointed co-heads of the investment banking unit of J.P. Morgan Chase. Both will be responsible for the bank's core businesses, which include technology, media and telecommunications investment banking. Cristina M. Morgan was also named vice president and senior banker and will focus on client relationships. These moves were necessitated by an illness to chairman and CEO Daniel H. Chase III, who has decided to step down from day-to-day responsibilities.
The Risk Management Association (RMA) has named Maurice H. Hartigan II president and CEO. Hartigan has over 35 years of experience in the banking industry, and was most recently an executive vice president at PNC. He has also held executive positions at Chemical Bank. Hartigan is replacing Allen W. Sanborn, who is retiring. The RMA is the only association that specializes in promoting effective credit risk management practices across the entire financial services industry.
Bridge Bank of Silicon Valley has appointed Natalie E. Taaffe as senior vice president of construction lending. Taaffe was most recently served as construction loan group manager at the Bank of Los Altos. She has also had stints at The Pacific Bank of Burlingame and Cupertino National Bank.
Colonial Bancgroup has promoted Sally Hudson to the post of director of information technology. Hudson, who had been senior vice president, has been with Colonial for 22 years, including a nine-year stint as information technology manager for Colonial Mortgage co.
