U.S. Bank Launches Credit Wellness Center
Minneapolis-based U.S. Bank has launched a new interactive feature on its website designed to help consumers manage credit scores, provide education about credit and provide tools and resources to help build and maintain credit.
Dubbed the Credit Wellness Center, the U.S. Bank microsite is available at www.usbank.com/creditwellness.
"U.S. Bank is committed to helping consumers understand how to use credit wisely, and why establishing a positive credit history is so important for their financial health," said Cliff Cook, chief marketing officer for U.S. Bank Retail Payment Solutions. "The U.S. Bank Credit Wellness Center reinforces our commitment by offering consumers an easy-to-use, one-stop credit education resource."
The site, which is accessible to the general public, explains what a credit score is, how it's calculated, how to improve one's credit score, a credit score trivia test, several videos and links to the three main credit bureaus, Equifax, Experian and Trans Union. U.S. Bank's Credit Wellness Center was developed in partnership with Visa's Practical Money Skills program and the American Bankers Association Education Foundation.
