Nedbank Limited Selects Oracle Core Solution
South African bank Nedbank Limited announced it has selected Oracle's Flexcube core banking solution to modernize its infrastructure and improve operating efficiency and customer service delivery.
Nedbank said it will to establish a single operating platform for its multi-country operations across five countries -- Lesotho, Malawi, Swaziland, Namibia and Zimbabwe. Nedbank Limited is part of Africa's largest banking network, the Ecobank Nedbank alliance, which has a total of 1,500 branches across 35 countries. Nedbank Limited said it sought to better align its infrastructure with the alliance, much of which is already using the Flexcube solution.
