Heartland Bank of Iowa Selects IBT's Integrated Bank Environment

Heartland Bank of Iowa and Integrated Bank Technology (IBT), a core processing, imaging and financial product provider, announced today the bank has selected IBT's Integrated Bank Environment, a suite of products utilizing a single database silo and includes integrated image teller, document imaging and other programs.

We were looking for a new check image vendor and wanted to start integrating document imaging when we came across IBT," said Kevin Black, Heartland Bank president. "Once we saw how integrated their program was and that they had check fraud, which is obviously very important to eliminate fraud and risks, we decided to go forward with them.”

Black said the new suite will allow Heartland to eliminate its old branch capture system and bring everything together into more of a "real-time" environment.

"When Heartland Bank made specific requests in regard to receipting, we quickly jumped on board to make the change," said Mike Golebiowski, IBT president. "To achieve a best of breed product strategy, we have to be ready to embrace recommendations made to us by our customers and be prepared to incorporate these enhancements quickly.
