First iPad App for Loan Documents Launches
Integrated Media Management, a document output management and automation technology provider, has announced a document preparation application for the Apple iPad. The new application will give users a portable way to complete, review and sign loan documents.
“Currently, community bank and credit union staff work with applicants to complete loan or account origination documents on a computer using TotaleAtlas, then print them out for the potential borrower to review,” Nish Shah, CTO at IMM, explained in a statement. “The iPad application ensures that it is a truly paperless process because the applicant can review the documents on the tablet, sign directly on the iPad and electronically complete the process.”
TotaleAtlas automates the space between a financial institution’s core system and imaging application and creates secure, 128-bit encrypted, non-editable PDF documents with embedded signatures. Automating this process eliminates paper and manual processes, resulting in an accurate and uniform document process for increased productivity and reduced labor time and costs. The Universal Document Presentment version is also available for non-integrated core processors and third party applications.
Another application developed by IMM for the iPad gives financial institutions the ability to send employees off site to open accounts and complete applications or other documents, have them signed and download them for archiving.
