Accenture Signs Core Systems Maintenance Contract with BBVA Chile
Accenture announced today a new maintenance contract for the core systems of the Chile division of Banco Bilbao Vizacaya Argentaria (BBVA), a global financial services group that owns BBVA Compass in the United States and is the largest banking institution in Mexico.
The consulting and outsourcing firm will maintain and enhance all of the applications - including deposits, checking and customer channels - that power the core operations of the Chile division for the next four years, Accenture said in a statement released today.
BBVA Chile already bases its core platform on Accenture's Alnova Financial Solutions platform, which is used by Accenture clients in more than 20 countries.
