ZAO Citibank Rolls Out Mobile Service to Russia

ZAO Citibank, the Russian operations of New York-based Citibank, today announced it has rolled out mobile banking to its customers.

Citi Mobile is accessible to Russian Citbank customers via mobile browser at the web address mobile.citibank.ru.

"Security and convenience are inherent in our retail customer solutions," said Bhaskar Katta, head of retail banking at ZAO Citbank. "Citi Mobile is one more step we are making in this direction. We are convinced that this new platform will benefit our customers through its functionality and the wide range of secure banking operations available to clients."

ZAO Citibank's mobile services include the ability to check account balances, pay bills, transfer funds — including transfers to other banks in Russia — open a time deposit, and check currency exchange rates.
