U.S. Bank Accepting Military Support Donations
U.S. Bank ATMs now have the capabilities to accept donations for Operation Homefront, a nonprofit military support group that provides emergency financial assistance to service members’ families, at 2,900 locations in 25 states.
The ATMs will accept contributions from Oct. 30 to Nov. 20, which will go directly to Operational Homefront. Customers will be able to donate from their primacy check or saving accounts in amounts from $5 to $299, the bank said.
"Many American want to support our military families, but don’t always know how," says Jim Knotts, president and CEO of Operation Homefront. "U.S. Bank is making it easier for their customers to make a difference in the lives of these families that sacrifice so much for all of us. We’re grateful to U.S. Bank and their customers for their commitment to our men and women in uniform."
