ProfitStars Announces New Mobile Remote Deposit Capture Solution

ProfitStars, a division of Jack Henry & Associates, Inc., today announced a new mobile remote deposit capture solution, which will be marketed under its Alogent brand.

ProfitStars will integrate the patented mobile RDC system provided by Mitek Systems with its Alogent Mobile Remote Deposit Solution.

"Given the success of early adopters of mobile remote deposit capture, including a top-tier bank leveraging the Alogent platform to power its offering, we expect a significant number of financial institutions will extend the advantages of remote deposit capture to individuals and small business customers through mobile devices," said Stacy Zengel, general manager of Imaging Solutions for Jack Henry & Associates. "ProfitStars already supports more than 1,500 financial institutions and 155,000 users through commercial remote deposit. Now, we expect to expand this market success by serving hundreds of thousands of additional users who will be able to conveniently make check deposits anytime and anywhere with their mobile phones."

Alogent Mobile Remote Deposit will support a number of smart phone platforms, including Apple iOS, Google Android, RIM BlackBerry and Windows Mobile.
