Ixe Bank to Roll Out Mobile Banking Across Mexico

Ixe Bank, a Mexican financial institution, plans to launch a new mobile banking service called Ixe Net Movil.

The Mexico City-based bank worked with Sybase 365 to develop SMS, mobile browser and rich client banking applications for customer use.

Ixe Bank is in growth mode — it told Dow Jones Newswires earlier this year it was thinking of opening 30 new branches this year; the bank already has 158 branches.
