First Tennessee Launches Mobile Banking
First Tennessee Bank ($26.3 billion in assets), a subsidiary of Memphis-based First Horizon National Corp., announced the launch of its mobile banking service Monday. The service allows customers to access the bank via SMS, mobile web browser or downloadable app.
"Mobile banking is a visible example of how technology is changing the banking industry," said Bruce Livesay, First Horizon chief information officer. "It keeps customers connected with the right products and services at the right time."
First Tennessee's mobile banking allows customers who are enrolled in online banking to check account balances, transfer funds, view recent transactions and find the nearest First Tennessee ATM or financial center.
