Celent Names ClairMail Top Mobile Vendor
ClairMail, Inc. earned Celent's XCelent Award for Advanced Technology, the mobile banking and payments solutions provider announced today.
Celent's 2010 mobile retail banking solutions report, Shuffling the Mobile Banking Vendor Deck: A Comparison of Mobile Retail Banking Solutions, evaluated 15 mobile banking companies and showed how the vendors' capabilities have changed since the firm's last report in 2007. ClairMail was named the recipient of Celent's XCelent Award for Advanced Technology as the result of its high scores in mobile banking enrollment, end user customization capabilities and advanced administrative tools, ClairMail said in a release.
"Receiving Celent's XCelent Advanced Technology Award demonstrates the effects that our overall mobile banking vision and business focus on the top tier financial institutions continue to have on the rest of the market," said Pete Daffern, CEO, ClairMail. "We've always measured our success by the growth of active end users, so we're especially honored to be recognized as the clear market leader for the adoption of our mobile banking solution."
Celent also highlighted ClairMail's ability to win customers independent of help from larger channel partners or as a subsidiary of a core backend system vendor.
"What is impressive about ClairMail is that its client 'wins' are not the result of being a back-end systems vendor or being a channel partner of a such a vendor," said the report's author Red Gillen, Celent Senior Analyst. "ClairMail's wins are due to the merits of its mobile technology alone, trumping any biases introduced by incumbent back-end systems."
