Co-Operative Tabs Fair Isaac

Co-operative Bank (Manchester, England) has selected Fair Isaac (San Rafael, Calif.) Blaze Decision System software to design and deploy business strategies that help improve profitability in its origination and account management operations. The bank is currently utilizing the company's TRIAD adaptive control system at First Data Europe (Basildon, UK) to process its card portfolio of one million accounts.

Harland Connects To Online

Atlanta-based Harland Financial Solutions, Inc., a subsidiary of John H. Harland Co., is expanding its bill payment relationship with Online Resources Corporation, (McLean, Va.) beginning in the third quarter of this year. The expansion will enable the companies' mutual credit union clients to take advantage of Money HQ, Online Resources' online personal financial management and transaction center.

PrivateBank/Artisoft

PrivateBank and Trust (Chicago,) has chosen Artisoft's (Cambridge, Mass.) software-based phone system, TeleVantage, as its telecommunications solution. Chicago-based Worknet, an authorized TeleVantage Solution Provider, has implemented the business communications solution in all seven of PrivateBank's metropolitan offices.

S1'S Alliance Program

S1 Corp. (Atlanta) has introduced an alliances program designed to increase the benefits to its partner community with new programs, communication tools and opportunities for partnering.

Union Planters/Principia

Union Planters, (Memphis, Tenn.) has selected Principia Partners LLC (Jersey City, N. J.) for managing the firm's derivatives trading and operations.

SWIFTReady/City Networks

City Networks (London) received the SWIFTReady (La Hulpe, Belgium) Gold Cash reconciliation and SWIFTReady Gold Securities Reconciliation accreditation for its CityNet Reconciliation product range.

BankAtlantic Goes BellSouth

BankAtlantic (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) has selected BellSouth to provide long distance services to all 73 of the banks branches. A customer of Atlanta-based BellSouth for local phone services, BankAtlantic opted to consolidate its communications needs, hoping to realize cost savings and the added convenience of using one provider.

Bank One Joins Yahoo!

Bank One (Chicago) and Yahoo! (Sunnyvale, Calif.) have recently expanded their long-term alliance. The expanded relationship will offer additional promotional opportunities for both companies, including the marketing of the Bank One brand and its products and services on the Yahoo! network.

Amex Uses Cardtronics

American Express Co. (New York) now has an ATM relationship with Houston-based Cardtronics. Cardtronics has acquired 1,704 ATMs and related placement agreements from American Express. The deal continues a program of expansion and diversification of Cardtronics' ATM network by adding relationships with 22 new corporate retail organizations and 40 independent merchants to the company's portfolio.

SouthTrust/KeyCorp ATM

SouthTrust Corporation (Birmingham, Ala.) is now apart of KeyCorps ATM program. Under the agreement, SouthTrust ATMs will now become part of Cleveland,based KeyCorp's ATM network for agent banks.
