JPMorgan Chase Launches New Measurement and Analytics System
JPMorgan Worldwide Securities Services (New York) launched a new performance measurement and analytics reporting system designed to help institutional investors maximize their returns with a broader set of reporting and analytical tools.
The expanded VIEWS solution offers extensive capabilities across multiple disciplines, including custody, accounting, compliance and securities lending. It also provides a link to performance measurement and supports the creation of customizable investment ledger and cash forecasting reporting. A reports wizard enables clients to tailor reports to their specific needs and a report scheduler allows users to schedule reports as frequently as they wish.
HP Offering to Enable End-to-End Payments Monitoring
HP (Palo Alto, Calif.) introduces its OpenViews Business Process Insight (OV/BPI), what the company describes as a cost-effective approach to enable real-time, end-to-end monitoring, risk management and enhanced process efficiency of payments. OV/BPI provides a unified view of payment processes across disparate software systems. It is designed to promote operational efficiency and cost reduction by identifying and alerting users to emerging problems before they escalate into disruptions. OV/BPI also supports Six Sigma project analysis and implementation.
Metropolitan West Simplifies Custodian Relationships With Evare
Newport Beach, Calif.-based investment adviser Metropolitan West Capital Management is using Evare's (Burlington, Mass.) connectivity managed service offering to simplify its communications with over 50 custodians. Evare is designed to enable direct proprietary communication amongst financial institutions without requiring any changes to the internal systems and processes used by each respective counterparty. Evare is used to establish a technical contact at each custodian, establish an electronic connection between Metropolitan and each custodian, collect data, normalize the data into a single format and then upload that data into metropolitan's accounting system.
WebMethods Unveils New Payment Solution
WebMethods, the Fairfax, Va.-based provider of business integration software, released webMethods for Payments. This solution is built on the webMethods Fabric, an SOA-enabling integration platform, and offers business activity monitoring capabilities to enable banks to improve their efficiency ratios, respond to significant price pressures, deliver on customer demands and service-level agreements, develop differentiated products and services, and lower compliance costs while meeting regulation requirements.
