SailPoint Offers Identity Risk Assessment
Austin, Texas-based SailPoint announced this week it is has launched a 30-day Identity Risk Assessment offering. Conducted by SailPoint's Alliance Network partners, the assessment provides a consolidated view of user access across target applications and enables organizations to highlight areas of identity risk for increased scrutiny, according to a press release.
The Identity Risk Assessment offering can help organizations to view enterprise-wide access privileges via detailed, business user-friendly reports, model application risk profiles and prioritize areas of concern and identify compliance gaps and security threats, according to SailPoint.
The SailPoint Alliance Network includes partners such as Logic Trends, Mycroft and Partners Consulting.
"A key weapon for preventing insider threats and internal security breaches is an overarching view of all access privileges -- basically who can access what and why," Jim Guinn, executive vice president at Partners Consulting, said in the press release. "The companies we work with know they're at risk, but they don't have the transparency needed to effectively manage their identity environment. Through an Identity Risk Assessment, companies can quickly identify and address critical vulnerabilities."
