Zipmark Launches Developer Program for Mobile and Online Payments
Mobile payments company Zipmark announced the launch of its developer program, designed to give business and app developers access to its payment system for online and mobile transactions.
The Zipmark Biller API provides the first real-time authorized checking transactions, the company said. It is currently being used by several companies to process payments, including Sunshine Suites, a co-working space provider in New York, Singular Payments, which specializes in bill payment solutions, UnitConnect, a property management software company, InvoiceASAP, a mobile invoicing provider, and Eastmedia, an integration partner that builds commerce apps for clients.
Zipmark launched in 2010 and enables mobile payments leveraging existing check-processing infrastructure. As a fee, Zipmark's charges 1 percent for each transaction and caps fees at five dollars.
Zipmark said its developer program is designed to be "efficient and effective for developers looking to integrate payments into their apps."
