Viewpointe to Acquire Assets of PaymentsNation

Check image exchange and archive services provider Viewpointe (New York) has agreed to purchase the assets of PaymentsNation, a payments solution provider headquartered in Dallas.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed, and both organizations are working to complete the conditions of closing in the near future. When closing conditions are met, PaymentsNation will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Viewpointe LLC.

The newly expanded organization would combine Viewpointe's check image clearing, exchange and archive services with PaymentsNation's settlement and ACH. In addition, PaymentsNation is a voting member of NACHA - The Electronic Payments Association, and is one of 21 regional payments associations that provide comprehensive payments education and training.

PaymentsNation and Viewpointe are long-term strategic partners. In February, the two firms launched a new automated settlement service for Viewpointe image exchange customers.
