Silver Bullet Technology, Glory FSM Partner for Solution Development

Pensacola, Fla.-based check scanner software developer Silver Bullet Technology has forged a strategic partnership with Glory FSM (Tokyo), a developer, manufacturer and provider of document scanners. Under the terms of the agreement, Silver Bullet's Ranger API will be developed for Glory FSM's FB-10 and FB-8 check scanners. Glory FSM's compact scanners handle a range of documents targeted to the financial and banking industries. The FB-10 and the FB-8 (RS 900) can read MICR, endorse, capture images, and sort documents at a rate of 70 DPM at USB2.0. Silver Bullet's Ranger software allows customers to use virtually any item-processing software with virtually any check-scanning hardware. The addition of Glory FSM's product to the Ranger family will allow banks and other financial institutions to incorporate these scanners into their programs without replacing their current software solutions.
