Spain's Banco Sabadell plans to transition all of its human resource management processes onto the SAP ERP Human Capital Management (SAP ERP HCM) solution. The processes are used by more than 10,000 employees in the bank's financial group. The bank will implement Duet software, which has been jointly developed by SAP and Microsoft. Duet allows users to interact with SAP business processes and data through Microsoft Office applications. The Banco Sabadell implementation will be one of the largest Duet implementations on a worldwide scale in a financial entity to date, according to SAP. SAP ERP HCM, based on the SAP NetWeaver technology platform and a core component of the services-enabled SAP Business Suite applications, will provide Banco Sabadell with an enterprisewide human capital management solution that will enable the bank to implement strategies to manage employee operational processes and talent management. Banco Sabadell currently employs other SAP applications, to manage internal financial processes and to manage purchasing, logistics, budget management, fixed assets and facilities management.
