Ken Harvey Named HSBC Chief Technology and Services Officer
HSBC (London) has named Ken Harvey as chief technology and services officer. The newly-created position combines the roles of chief operating officer and chief information officer.
Harvey most recently was group CIO and took over the combined role after the retirement of group COO David Hodgkinson. Harvey will report to group CEO Michael Geoghegan. He will also join the group management board. Harvey will continue to lead the bank's One HSBC initiative, which will see the migration of the bank's global operations onto a single technology platform.
