Citigroup Names Marjorie Magner CEO,Global Consumer Group
Citigroup Inc., based in New York, has named Marjorie Magner chairman and chief executive of its global consumer group. Magner, who will remain on Citigroup's management committee, has been with the firm for nearly 20 years-most recently as chief operating officer of the global consumer group. Magner replaces Citigroup president Robert B. Willumstad as head of the consumer group.
World Bank CFO Joins Capital One Financial's Management
Capital One Financial Corp. (McLean, Va.) has hired Gary L. Perlin, former chief financial officer of the World Bank, as executive vice president and chief financial officer. Perlin will also serve as the principal accounting officer of Capital One.
Digital Insight Appoints Stiefler Chairman/CEO
Digital Insight Corp. (Chicago, Ill.) has recently appointed Jeffrey Stiefler as chairman, president and chief executive officer. Stiefler, who most recently served as president and chief executive officer of IDS Financial Services, replaces John Dorman, who has announced his plans to retire.
Lance E. Kessler Gets New Position at Waypoint
Lance E. Kessler has been appointed to the new position of vice president and chief marketing officer of Waypoint Kessler Financial Corp. (Harrisburg, Pa.). Kessler will lead the competitive positioning and strategic marketing direction for Waypoint Financial. His responsibilities include marketing Waypoint's financial services, including banking, trust and investment and insurance, and oversight of the company's e-commerce and call center operations.
CSC Chooses Steve Mitchener as President of Financial Services
Computer Sciences Corp. (CSC, El Segundo, Calif.) has promoted Steve Mitchener to president of the financial services group for the Europe, Middle East and Africa region (EMEA). Prior to this new position, Mitchener was vice president of business development, products and solutions for EMEA. He replaces Ian Hickson, who has assumed the newly-created position of president of the Southern Europe and Africa division of Computer Sciences Corp.'s European group.
