Carey to Head Umpqua Super Region

Ric Carey, EVP of retail banking for Umpqua Bank, will oversee a three-state region as the bank looks to restructure and better align its retail network in California, Oregon and Washington.

Carey will work directly with the company's six regional managers to provide strategic emphasis on local retail sales and services. He has overseen retail banking in Umpqua's Oregon and Washington markets for the past four years. In his new role, he will oversee retail banking for all three states, serve as a liaison between the company's regional management teams and Umpqua's executive leadership.
