Bank of New York Mellon Names Robert Rupp EVP
Robert Rupp has been named executive vice president and head of enterprise-wide market risk at The Bank of New York Mellon. Rupp will also be a member of the bank's global operating committee and will report to Brian Rogan, chief risk officer.
Rupp has previously been with JPMorgan Chase since 2000, most recently serving as managing director of risk management, where he provided market risk oversight for the Chief Investment Office, Chase Home Finance, Corporate Treasure and Asset Management. Rupp has also held senior roles at ABN Amro, Chemical Bank and Kidder, Peabody & Co. In addition, Rupp was previously a partner at the law firm of Kutak Rock and was also a staff attorney at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in Washington, D.C. He has also served as a member of Fannie Mae's National Advisory Council.
