ZKB implements Exstream's Dialogue software; Citibank uses Fundtech's Global PAYplus; ING Bank Slaski selects Centra to power eLearning solutions

Zuercher Kantonalbank (ZKB), the third largest bank in Switzerland, has decided to use Exstream Software's Dialogue software to add the functionality of personalized online banking services for both businesses and consumers. Their clients can now view account information, money transactions and other bank statements online.

ZKB chose Exstream's product based on its ability to create all required outputs such as PDF and HTML, support for all computing platforms including MVS and IBM/AIX, its simple graphical user interface, its object-oriented open architecture and the possibility of using the program for over 170 document applications.

Dialogue also provides an eFulfillment web engine through which customers can submit on-demand requests for information with custom designed web forms. The forms are processed in real time and then displayed on the web at the customer's site for easy access.

"Dialogue has fulfilled all of our application requirements, and we are very satisfied with its stability and performance," said Gerhard Petrig, application engineer for Output Management at ZKB. "Not only did we want a product that was easy to use and could meet all of our application requirements, but we wanted a vendor that was forward-thinking and would react quickly to our needs. LASERCOM and Exstream have provided us with both, and because of that we can now offer our customers the speed and convenience they want in personalized online banking-something we could not do before."

Citibank will implement Fundtech's Global PAYplus solution in London as the first in a multi-country rollout.

Global PAYPlus is an automated payments management solution for global financial institutions that Citibank chose to consolidate several of their payment systems. The project began in the year 2001 with no finishing date given.

In order to power their live collaboration and eLearning initiatives in Poland, ING Bank Slaski has chosen Centra's CentraOne program.

ING Slaski wanted a technology that could deliver a robust platform for business collaboration and the delivery of training to their corporate network branch offices. Their ideal platform would also include a vehicle for various types of meetings, mentoring and planning. Centra fit all of these criteria while also providing a unique online learning program to provide the bank's employees with focused product training across their geographic spread.

"ING Bank Slaski's leading position in Poland and expansion into new financial markets must be supported with training and information on-demand, making Centra's infrastructure a 'must-have' for dispersed organizations like theirs," said Lawrence Whittle, vice president of Sales Operations for Centra in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. "ING Bank Slaski now has the tool needed to incorporate eLearning and collaboration successfully into their critical business processes."
