ProfitStars Launches Document Capture Service

ProfitStars, a Dallas-based division of Jack Henry Associates, has announced the availability of Enterprise Conversion Solutions (ECS) Document Capture Solutions, a document scanning service that converts paper-based files into document images.

The ECS service is performed by experienced professionals who scan documents at customer sites or at secure ProfitStars scanning centers to capture and import files into businesses' existing document imaging systems, according to a press release. The leftover paper documents can be either shredded or re-filed. The service is compatible with Jack Henry Associates' Synergy Enterprise Content Management platform and other third-party document imaging and accounting solutions.

"We expect this new service, which leverages our proven technology and ECS's more than 10 years of experience in the heavily regulated financial industry, will generate immediate interest among financial institutions and in other vertical markets that are inherently paper-intensive like the healthcare and legal fields," David Foss, president of ProfitStars, said in the press release. "We believe our scanning service is a natural extension of our enterprise conversion solutions and is another specialized ProfitStars offering that has significant sales potential in the traditional and nontraditional markets we serve."
