Our colleagues over at InformationWeek ran an exclusive story yesterday afternoon, reporting that Armonk, N.Y.-based IBM intends to reorganize its software group.Citing an IBM internal memo, Doug Henschen reports that the software group will be split into two separate units: Software Solutions Group and Software Middleware Group. The new units will be headed by Mike Rhodin and Robert LeBlanc, respectively. Both execs were promoted to senior vice president.
