Chugoku Bank Signs 9 Year Outsourcing Deal with IBM

IBM (Armonk, N.Y.) will manage operations and maintenance of Okayama, Japan-based Chugoku Bank's IT systems, including host computer and servers, under a newly signed 9-year outsourcing agreement, IBM announced on Monday.

Chugoku Bank, a major Japanese regional bank, will look to IBM to enhance client experiences with secure and stable services for customers, according to a press release. The bank also expects that IBM will help it to optimize business efficiencies by stabilizing and streamlining the IT systems and reducing IT costs.
