Fundtech, Guardian Analytics Announce New Fraud Prevention Solution

Guardian Analytics, a provider of behavior-based fraud detection solutions, and payments software company Fundtech have partnered on a behavior-based fraud prevention solution for real-time wire processing.

The solution, announced at the NACHA Payments 2013 conference this week in San Diego, is called FraudMAP Wire for PAYplus and integrates Guardian Analytics’ FraudMAP Wire solution with Fundtech’s payment platforms: PAYplus USA & PAYplus Connect.

According to the two companies, the product combines behavioral analytics and intervention capabilities with real-time wire transaction processing, delivering fraud prevention as part of a streamlined workflow for managing wire transactions and automatically releasing low-risk wires while holding high-risk wires for investigation.

The solution automatically receives all wire transactions from the PAYplus systems for risk scoring and analyzes each transaction in real time across a wide range of potential risk factors for any anomalies in originator behavior, according to the two firms.
