***Fifth Third Hires Moore

Fifth Third Bank (Cincinnati) hired Patrick Moore as SVP and director of product management for its treasury management business. Moore previously was SVP and product executive in the ACH and deposit services area with JPMorgan Chase (New York).

***Alex Joins SunTrust

Nicholas Alex was appointed SVP of the treasury management product division at SunTrust Banks (Atlanta). Alex joins SunTrust from Bank of America's (Charlotte, N.C.), global treasury services unit.

***Key Calls on Kontul

KeyCorp (Cleveland) hired Dean Kontul as EVP and director of call center sales and service. Kontul previously developed and directed six call centers for JPMorgan Chase.

***New Fiserv Group Pres.

Former eFunds U.S. operations president Rahul Gupta was named group president in the payments and industry products area at Brookfield, Wis.-based Fiserv. Also, Thomas Warsop, previously VP of U.S. financial services for EDS, has joined Fiserv as group president, financial institutions.

***Two Named to BB&T Exec Management Team

Donna Goodrich, manager of deposit services, and Clarke R. Starnes III, manager of specialized lending, were named to BB&T's (Winston-Salem, N.C.) executive management team.
