** UBS' Wilks Joins Barclays

Neil Wilks, formerly global functional head for financial control IT at UBS (Zurich), joined London-based Barclays as its new senior technology officer for central support.

** BofNY Exec Movement

The Bank of New York's vice chairman, Donald Monks, will take on the newly created role of chief administrative officer. Also, SVP Brian Rogan, who leads the bank's issuer services business, will assume additional responsibility for broker-dealer services, global payments and trade services.

** BAI Board Members

The newest members of the BAI (Chicago) board of directors include: Charles Tonge, vice chairman, Harris Bank (Chicago); Michele Trolli, EVP and CIO, M&T Bank (Buffalo, N.Y.); Bruce Murphy, EVP and president of community development banking, KeyBank (Cleveland); and Lewis Fischer, SVP and group manager, operations, JPMorgan Chase (New York).

** New Wincor Nixdorf VP

Wincor Nixdorf (Paderborn, Germany) promoted former managing director of Ireland operations Alan Walsh to VP of banking. He will oversee the company's banking solutions business in the U.S.
