** BofA Taps FBI Exec
Chris Swecker, the current assistant director of the Criminal Investigative Division and acting executive assistant director for law enforcement services at the FBI, will join Bank of America (Charlotte, N.C.) in July to lead BofA's corporate security group.
** Commerce Promotion Linda Verba, formerly head of retail support operations at Cherry Hill, N.J.-based Commerce Bank, was promoted to executive vice president.
** Mooney Joins KeyCorp
Beth Mooney joined KeyCorp (Cleveland) as a vice chair and will lead Key's 13-state community banking organization. Most recently, Mooney served as senior EVP and CFO for Birmingham, Ala.-based AmSouth Bancorp.
** WaMu Names Retail Prez
Washington Mutual (Seattle) named James Corcoran retail banking president. Previously, he was managing director of retail distribution for Halifax Bank of Scotland.
** ADP Appoints EVP
ADP Clearing and Outsourcing (New York) named former Charles Schwab operations SVP Michael Alexander EVP of operations. He will supervise all aspects of the company's clearing operations.
