HSBC Names Hoff CEO For Retail Services Business

Prospect Heights, Ill.-based HSBC - North America named Joseph W. Hoff CEO of its retail services business. Hoff, formerly CFO of retail services, will oversee the day-to-day operational and sales efforts for HSBC's private label credit cards.

LaSalle Promotes Execs

LaSalle Bank (Chicago) promoted three senior executive vice presidents: John Newman was named president of the bank's specialty banking group; Larry Richman was named president of commercial banking; and David Rudis was named president of consumer banking.

RBS Names VP of Ops

RBS National Bank (Bridgeport, Conn.) named Susie Gleeson Buffam vice president of operations. Formerly responsible for analysis and business planning for credit card portfolios at Citigroup, Buffam will help to develop strategic partnerships and operational platforms for RBS National, the U.S. credit card arm of Royal Bank of Scotland Group.
