Executive Changes
Alex Tan was named CEO of the Asia-Pacific region for Welcome, a smart card provider company. Previously Tan has filled CEO-level positions with companies including M-Payment, Thyron Technologies, Active Card and Hypercome Asia. He has also worked with MasterCard International, United Overseas Bank, NETS and Visa International. Welcome is headquartered in France with offices in the Philadelphia, Montreal, Toronto and Singapore.

Simon T. Nahnybida has joined Online Resources Corp., an e-financial services provider, as senior business development executive. Nahnybida will be responsible for expanding Online Resources' client base of financial institutions. Prior to joining Online Resources, Nahnybida was vice president of sales and business development at Spectrum EBP, LLC. He is also responsible for the successful launch of MasterCard International's Remittance Processing service.

Todd Gresham was named to the GlassHouse Technologies Board of Directors. Gresham is president of Meritage Associates, an executive management consultancy that focuses on storage, information systems, and network infrastructure environments. He was also formerly vice president of OEM and Reseller Sales at EMC.

Nayeem Qureshi was named vice president of business development at Foundation Source, a philanthropic services company that offers turnkey solutions for private foundations. He is responsible for supporting the company's financial partners in the field. Qureshi has been active in the financial services industry for over 17 years.

Mervyn Farrant was named non-executive Chairman to the Board at Cognotec, a provider of foreign exchange and money market e-commerce automated dealing solutions. Farrant has been involved in the IT industry for 30 years. For the last 16 years, he ran his own software and consulting business, which specialized in insurance and pensions.
