EXECUTIVE CHANGES
Dennis Sheehan was promoted to president and chief operating officer of the BISYS Group, Inc., New York, from his prior post as executive vice president and chief financial officer. In his new role, he will be responsible for day-to-day operations, strategic business development and corporate marketing. Sheehan joined BISYS in 1995, after stints at Concord Holdings, the Equitable, Paine Webber, SCM Corporation and KPMG Peat Marwich.

David MacWhorter was named president of US operations for CEYONIQ, Herndon, Va., formerly CE-AG and TREEV, Inc. Three years ago, MacWhorter had been president and CEO of TREEV before departing for online photo processor PictureVision, which he helped to become a subsidiary of Kodak. Now, he will be responsible for leading US operations of the content management lifecycle solutions company.

Gary Corr has been tapped as senior vice president and head of corporate development for ORIX USA, a subsidiary of ORIX Corporation Japan. In this role, he will identify and expand business opportunities for ORIX in the Western Hemisphere. Corr has over 29 years of financial services industry experience, including executive roles at Charter Financial, Citicorp Leasing and Citicorp Securities Markets.

Bob Johnson was appointed chief operating officer of SecureWave, a computer security products company headquartered in Luxembourg. He will manage and lead daily operations and provide strategic direction for technology, marketing and operations initiatives. Previously, he had worked for Arthur Andersen as the director of desktop resource management, and as special advisor to the CIO. Johnson also worked for SSDS, Inc. a network engineering consulting company that implemented projects for Lockheed Corp.

Danen T. Butler was named CEO of Promicro Systems, a Poway, Calif. systems integrator and hardware solutions provider. He will be responsible for determining the long-term direction of the company and implementing its business strategies. Prior to joining Promicro, Butler co-founded TruSolutions, which was acquired by VA Linux Systems last year.
