EXECUTIVE CHANGES
Dennis F. Strigl has been appointed to the Board of Directors for PNC Bank and PNC Financial Services Group, Pittsburgh. Strigl is president and CEO of Verizon Wireless, one of the largest wireless service providers in the country. Prior to Verizon, he served as president and CEO of Bell Atlantic Mobile and group president and CEO of Bell Atlantic Global Wireless. As member of the PNC Boards, Strigl will help continue the company's drive towards diversification.

Thomas M. Quigg has joined the Bank of Silicon Valley, Santa Clara, Calif., Board of Directors. Quigg has over 37 years of experience in the California commercial banking industry, and was most recently chairman, CEO and president of Bank of America's Federal Savings Bank subsidiary. He will help guide bank decisions that relate to technology, private banking and international banking.

M. Douglas Ivester has accepted a position on the S1 Corp., Atlanta, Board of Directors. Ivster was most recently the chairman and CEO of the Coca-Cola Company, where over a 20 year career he also held the posts of president and CFO. He will help S1 align operations with business and financial goals.

Mike Korthaus has been named president of the SAFECO Financial Institutions Distribution division of Redmond, Wash.-based SAFECO Life & Investments. In this role, Korthaus will lead the company's wholesaling force efforts to build and strengthen distribution and marketing relationships with banks and other financial institutions. He was most recently executive vice president of bank programs for Talbot Financial Corp., a subsidiary of SAFECO Corporation.

Roger Van Scoy has been tapped to lead TSYS Europe, the overseas arm of Columbus, Ga.-based TSYS, a global payments processing provider. As managing director, Van Scoy will be responsible for all aspects of TSYS operations in Europe. He has more than 26 years of experience in the credit card and transaction processing industry, including stints with First USA, First Fidelity Bank, EDS and First Data Corp.
