EXECUTIVE CHANGES

John Rosenfeld joins Bank of America as Consumer E-Business executive; Stephen E. Canter and Ronald P. O'Hanley are appointed to the Executive Management Committee at Mellon Financial; Michael Cleary and Christopher Klein to head the Internet Business Group at Bank One; Scott M. McBrair and David Seim become board members for Pulse EFT Association; Dino Kos named executive vice president and head of New Markets Group for the New York Federal Reserve.

John Rosenfeld has joined Bank of America Corp. as Consumer E-Commerce executive. He will be responsible for a number of e-commerce initiatives including the building of customer self-service applications and other feature designed to enhance customer relationships. Rosenfeld, who was most recently the manager of E-Business Portals at General Electric, will report to Amy Brinkley, president of Consumer Products and Mark Argosh, Consumer and Small Business E-Commerce executive.

Stephen E. Canter and Ronald P. O'Hanley have been appointed to the Executive Management Committee at Mellon Financial Corp. Canter was also named chairman of the company's Dreyfus division, where he had been serving as president. O'Hanley came from Mellon's Institutional Asset Management division. These moves were in response to Christopher Condron leaving his post as president of Mellon Financial Corp. to become an executive at Axa Group.

Michael Cleary and Christopher Klein will head the recently formed Internet Business Group at Bank One Corp. Cleary, who is also president of Wingspan, the company's Internet bank, will oversee all Internet efforts for consumers and small businesses. Klein will manage Bank One's Internet efforts for large commercial customers.

Scott M. McBrair and David Seim have been named board members for Pulse EFT Association. McBrair is an executive vice president and manager of the Retail Operation Group for Bank One, where he is responsible for the company's 5,700 ATM network. Seim is president and CEO of Lubbock National Bank, which has branches throughout Texas. Pulse is an electronic funds transfer network owned and operated by financial institutions.

Dino Kos has been appointed executive vice president and head of the New Markets Group at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. Kos takes over for Peter R. Fisher, who is a nominee for under secretary of Domestic Finance at the Treasury Department. Kos has held a number of positions at the Federal Reserve, and has also worked in the Secretariat of the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision.
