Florida Bank Taps Intrieve
First Bank of Jacksonville, Jacksonville, Fla., has signed a long-term outsourcing contract with Intrieve, a Cincinnati-based service provider, for core processing and item processing services.
First Bank of Jacksonville tapped Intrieve for its banking technology solutions in order to support its strategic direction and growth strategy.
The bank decided to replace its old in-house system with an outsourced solution comprising Kirchman Bankway, a core banking system from Kirchman
Corporation, Orlando, Fla., and Intrieve's item processing services and electronic banking systems solutions.
"We made a strategic decision to move from an in-house to outsourcing solution, rather than becoming consumed with managing and keeping pace with technology," according to Jack Avery, president of First Bank of Jacksonville.
The bank chose Intrieve because of its proven technology expertise and experience in helping banks, said Avery. "I am confident Intrieve's solutions and service will support us during this transition."
As a one-stop solution provider, Intrieve offers customized technology solutions for financial institutions seeking the full suite of core banking applications, as well as a comprehensive array of ancillary banking products and services.
"First Bank of Jacksonville's commitment to its customers is perfectly in line with our technology offerings," said Intrieve CEO John "Jack" Kuntz. "We look forward to leveraging our financial industry expertise to help meet its long-term goals for growth."
